The Best Blueberry Scones

  • 2 and 3/4 cups flour
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 sticks cold butter
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2/3 cup whipping cream
  • 2 cups fresh blueberries

Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in large bowl.

In a separate bowl, whisk the eggs & cream together and add to dry ingredients lightly, barely holding together. Use your fingers if needed for a light touch.

Grease baking sheet.

Mold in cup of hand and put on the baking sheet. We found that small scones work best for a tea party.

Bake in preheated oven at 375 degrees for around 20 minutes for larger scones. Bake around 10 - 12 minutes for small scones.

Frost with powdered sugar glaze frosting.
This recipe can make between 12 to 20 scones.
